Review – Indelible by Karin Slaughter

Indelible

Karin Slaughter

Rating: 5 stars

As I plow my way through Karin Slaughter’s Grant County series, I realized this is the second book in the series that I have given five stars. An origin story, set between past and present, I finally found out how Sara and Jeffrey meet. Such a relief, I was starting to get worried Karin would never talk about it. Indelible is more than how they met, its how they survived after meeting. That is what makes this book my absolute favorite and BRILLIANT!

A twisty, tense brilliant audible listen I didn’t want to stop. I loved the origin story, especially the present tense story. As I listened to the narrator, I felt like I was in the book. An outsider looking in, kind of like a movie. Yes, exactly like that. A really good action movie with bits and pieces of love blended in show that love is everywhere. Love can be torn down and built back up again in some twisted ways, and with Karin’s writing she proves once again its possible.

Hopefully by the end the time I finish this series, I will have converted someone else into a Karin Slaughter fan. Until then, I will read them for you and report back my thoughts.
